Default Idle issue

Hey, once again i got a question, my 1986 944 is showing an odd idle while driving around town. The rpm is bouncing in a range of 200 RPM at stops or when I let off the gas, the oil pressure needle is bouncing from 3 to 4-4.5 as well. Also if this helps any, i do notice a shake/throb and i do smell gasoline at times (doing the fuel lines for Xmas break). So whats failing now?

Id check for vacuum leaks first, unplug the iac (might not be the Porsche name) and see if it runs different

Somewhat of a bump but also i did notice a large black mark above my exhaust tip on the paint. So i am running rich, would a vac line cause this? (havent had time to trouble shoot the issue)

Pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and see of their is fuel or the smell of fuel. If bad will also run rich and probably cause shakes/some hesitation. I don't think it would cause idle to fluctuate, relate back to my first post for that.

That'd be a problem....
In relation to running rich, check the position of your Fuel Quality Switch, it was the problem for me
