If these are the ones with the little tweeters at the top, then the answer is no. You will have to use a drummel to trim the opening.

Thanks, but if I did Dremel the trim, they'd fit? Would that be needed front and back? I'm not against it if so.

I have plate speakers but can't remember the make they fit no trimming needed. But my friends 4x6 coax sound better.

I have Polk MM461p in front. Put them in with the tweeter on top and you should be fine. I have the part that the speaker grill attaches to acting as a spacer for them, but if I remember correctly, you don't really need to do that. Ohh, and I fit some 6.5s in the rear. I know my '89S2 already had a 6.5" opening cut back there, but I know that if you do a bit of cutting, you'll be able to fit 6.5s back there without a problem

you have an 86 like me.....unfortunately not until 87 did they make the rear holes with the removable plate which if you remove you can fit the 6.5's.....so for 86 and prior......drummel is required.
