Default Rogue Tuning A-Tune, impressions

I just recently installed a Rogue Tuning A-Tune in my 1986 951. All I can say is WOW! Joshua really did a nice job with this tune. The car is more responsive in all rev ranges. Gone is the "dead 80's turbo car" feel I have gotten used to over the last 15 + years. Boost builds quickly, throttle response is sharp and crisp- the car is much more pleasurable to drive in any circumstance.

Installation was easy enough- save my own personal issues of ham fisted handling of the EPROM. Joshua was great- got me the things I needed quickly and was pleasant and understanding through it all. I cannot recommend this A-Tune enough. For those who want a modern car feel without spending a fortune you NEED this upgrade.

I cannot imagine spending MAF conversion money without using his MAP sensor incorporation system.

If you are on the fence, dont be, this is a seriously wonderful way to spend $300 on your 951.

Is the rest of your car stock or do you have any supporting mods? I really haven't heard anyone say anything bad about Rogue's A/M tune.

I have a 3 bar FPR, MBC set to 15 psi, CAT delete center section and a Borla rear muffler. Otherwise stock.

Not just a chip upgrade but a modernization of your car plus chip tune. I really cant say enough positive things about how well the car drives now. Joshua has incorporated a modern MAP sensor into the car so the rather arcane ECU can "understand" boost. Also increased the map size for the 3 load points and uses IGN timing to the best advantage now. Without the MAP sensor and increased map sizes I dont see how anyone can do as thorough a job with a chip tune.
