I did mine a few months ago had to replace both the master and slave cylinders, I agree remove the starter and the slave is the easier of the two to work on or at least to me it was, good luck

ill take pics of what i bought a old school oil can and 3mm flex hose i just need to wait for my friend has a big jax and i will change the master cylinder but ill have porsche so that..might be a bit much for me..im a interior designer in the hamptons lol but german car i dont mind getting my hands dirty cuz its like working on art they design these cars so well i just read Ferdinand Porsche worked on the tiger tanks and all kinds of stuff before ww2 and he was sent to jail....cool stuff...thanks F40

you need a master and slave cylinder no doubt. The job is not that hard to do yourself. Getting to the master behind the brake booster is a snug fit but not that difficult. A power bleeder is the way to go any other way as a novice I am afraid will make for an awfully soft pedal. If $ is no object I guess Porsche dealer is the way to go. In that case I would replace the supply hose off the master to the solid tube that connects to the slave cylinder. If you want to talk through it over the phone I can help. The hardest part of the entire job with the right tools is the retainer clip that connects to the clutch pedal assembly that is removed from inside the car to get the master cylinder to release. Pm me if you want to try and tackle this job yourself.
