Default BE studs - NOT an alternative to ARP.

Since there's very little out there in the likes of bottom end studs for the 44/xx other than the usual, I thought I'd post a couple photos.

I'll update the photos with a little more detail and the complete set of ten tonight or in the morning. These really aren't an alternative to ARP or, I think RaceWare, if still made. Finish - TGP.

Wow - very nice work!!!

Rennlister Mike Simard has made his own studs for the 928, I've talked to him about possibly making a set for my 944S:

Personally I consider his studs superior and better suited for the 928/944 than anything else out there.

Completed Bottom-End Studs.
Just the particulars - please!

Material: 706
As reduced: 198-204KSI
Thread SPEC: Turned - Metric per ASME/ASTM - modified for application "J" peak and root mod.
Cold worked with Cermet tooling
Finish: TGP
Waisted with 45Deg Chamfers start and end of thread form..
Further Treatment: None - Ready to use as machined.
