7Jx17 ET50 for the front and 9Jx17 ET55 for the rear are the wheels I'm looking at. They are the 10 spoke 911(996) wheels. They come with winter tires on them so that would save me the hassle of changing out my tires on my current Fuchs.
My question is I have a 1986 944 Turbo. It has stock suspension. What kind of spacers/ other parts to make these work. I heard something about a 1" space front and rear. Other question where can I get a wheel spacer? I'm new to all these.

Check wheelenhancement.com for spacers.
Early cars have lower offsets. I know a 55mm offset will fit the rear of a late car, but early cars tend to be happy with offsets ~40 (using 996 turbo twists as an example, that fit early cars but not late). Don't know on the fronts.
Do a search on here for offsets. There are tons of threads where people go in depth discussing what different year cars need.

I have test fitted the wheels and they don't fit as well as I thought. From my research it sounds like I need to get a 1" spacer/adapter. Where would be a good place to get that?
