Default Chicago Help Please DME realted I think

So I'm trying to diagnose a no start on my 951. So far I've rebuilt the starter and alternator and still no start. So I figured that the fuel pump wasnt working cuz I didnt hear it running when the key was on the on position. So I did the DME swap since I have 2 and still no start. So then I did the DME jumper with the paper clip and whalaa..finally I hear the Fuel Pump working and the injectors trying to fire up but still NO start. So what would mimick the 2 DMEs from not letting them fire up the fuel pump. So at the very least I'd like to install my 2 DMEs onto another working car to make sure the DMEs are both crapped out or do in fact work. I'm in southside by White Sox Park but my car is by midway but have the DMEs with me. Please email me if I can meet sometime soon to rule out the DMEs or if you can help me. Thanks

Check the speed and reference sensors and connectors.

Well after reading clarks garage. It indicates that when trying to start if the tach jumps the speed and refernce sensors are probably good. Is that correct. Mine do jump plenty when crancking.

It would seem weird that both your DMEs would have this problem... But a few months ago my car would crank and never start because of a DME solder joint...

I just re-soldered it, and it starts every time with no problem now!

Whip Hooo!! It's a festivus miracle. Put in a new belt and she fired up. Went for a test drive and all is good. I'm 2 for 2 on broken belts.

yup the belt stripped 3 teeth and popped. Rich was at a stop sign at idle, clutch in, and the engine died. Dodged a big bullet this time, not sure what contributed to the failure as we changed the belt 1.5 years ago.

Threw the old belt on and it runs like a champ, holds boost etc.

Belt has been sacrificed to the gods and an alter has been created.
