Red locktight on fuel damper bolt...how to loosen?
I cant get this bolt to break free....I checked on the locktight site and said 500 degrees to get it to soften. Being that is is in direct contact with fuel...do I need to remove my entire fuel rail? Suggestions? Will operating temp of the engine be enough....?

Sounds like your loctite hasn't degraded like most, crappy luck.
Engine temp won't be enough there. I have got that to work on fastners that you can put a whole truckload of tourqe on. You might get it off but in the end I'm pretty sure that if you stuck with getting it off and using heat it would have saved you time.
If I remeber my basic hazmat stuff correctly the ignition point of gasoline is roughly 525 degrees. Not much margin for error ;-)

i know on my early rail, I def have to remove the whole rail before I could remove the FPD. removed the rail, flushed it out with water and then put i on the vise and put the huge wrench on it

Grunt Power!! Be prepared to buy a used Fuel Rail and check for any cracks at all joints. I have had to braze two fuel rails because of fuel leaks.

Red locktite really does need that heat to let go. Good luck. Bad idea to use high strength locktite on a fuel system.
