16 x 9's and 8's FUCHS Tire Setup Question?
I just purchase a set of 16x9 Fuchs for my 86 951 and will be moving the 16x8's (Fuchs) to the front.....my question is what size tires can I fit on the 16x8's in the front without rolling the fenders or doing any mods.
I plan on running 245/45/16's on the rears....any thoughts on this ?
Thanks for the feedback in advance.

205s fit but look a tad narrow.. so go with 225s (since 225s fit up front on 7's, they should also fit on 8's Car will look really nice with a 225/245 combo.. Now, you just have to find a brand that makes BOTH sizes.. the choices aren't too many these days.

Well, Conti still has both 225 & 245s, a buddy is a rep & informed me there would be no issue getting tires, plus, Porsche is selling 7,8 &9X 15 & 16 Fuchs again, I don't think they would do that if you couldn'y get tires for em.

Thanks everyone.......I made a call this afternoon to a local Tire Place here in the Philadephia Area called Mr. Tire (also a national chain) and not only could they source the Conti's and also the Fuzions were $50 less than tire rack installed !!!!!!!....and they are not discontinuing them.
Seems like the myth of the 245/45/16 going extinct is exactly that...a myth.
They don't support the 16" tires on their website....but if you give them a call they can help you out.

Not yet.......they guy I am buying them off of is at the track this weekend and will be shipping them to me on Monday...based on funding I should have them mounted up with the Fuzions in about 2 or 3 weeks and will post pictures and commentary.

I want to know how many guys have run the 9" wide ET 15 rear Fuchs wheels on a standard width 944 or 951 and does it work without rubbing?
I currently have 16x7/8 Fuchs but want to use 8/9" widths for track use. I have early offset suspension
