Throttle cable update for 1990 944 S2
Hi Guys,
Someone I was looking the car over with the other day mentioned an update that was done to the throttle cable and lever/linkage assembly for my 1990 S2.
They could see it was the original one and therefore warned me to be careful of breakage. Aged cables eventually break I guess so I checked the setup of the plastic screw under the accelerator - it had fallen out - so I set it up so that the cable can't strain against the throttle assembly.
What's the deal with the update? Apparently there is a different linkage/lever assembly... Is it a simple and cheap update I can do myself - I couldn't see where everything gets hooked up in the foot well when I was doing the screw.
