Default Removing parking brake cable from rear hub?

Hello,

I am swapping trailing arms from steel to aluminum.

Can anyone tell me the procedure for removing the parking brake cable from the hub on steel arms and on aluminum arms?

Thanks,
Alex

You need to remove the disk and you will see how it is attached to the brake drum. Should be the same for both but I could be wrong.

I removed the brake rotors on the early steel arms. The hub with the studs pressed in is very much in the way of the e brake assembly. Is there a way around this?
