Default Rear brakes grinding after new rotors and pads

I put new Sebro rotors and PBR Deluxe (ceramic added) pads. Flushed the system and on initial testing am getting a grinding noise from the right rear. I haven't done a break in yet but pulled the wheel and checked for obvious wear. Nothing was noted. I've see some posts about parking brake issues associated with this but can't see how that is part of normal braking. Any ideas about this?

Rotor might be contacting the backing plate?

why would that not make the sound constant vs only when the brakes are applied? By the way my #2 944 was identical to yours in the Avatar. Beautiful car.

I used PBR Ultimate (Ceramic) on genuine Porsche crossdrilled rotors and I get a graunching / squealing when they are cold. I was a little concerned at first until my friend came over in his 996 GT3 and his brakes make exactly the same noise on his standard pads and rotors...

If it is only when you apply the brakes then not likely its the backing plate. Maybe some rust is binding somewhere or something. If its not a ridiculously loud scary noise and you see nothing obviously wrong I'd just bed the pads in and drive for a while and if the sound goes away. And thanks about the car, the color has grown on me since I first bought it.
