Vanity plate ideas
No although I can see why you would think that but it was a 928 in risky business, not a 944 and this is simpler as it's based on the Porsche moto of "there is no substitute" ...hence NO SUBS

I wasn’t thinking it was a reference to the car from the movie, but the line you just quoted. Tom Cruise says that exact line after a car chase in his Porsche. That’s why I thought it was a callback to that movie. Regardless, it’s a great plate!

(Even though I'm retired AF, I LOVE F-8s...because "When you are out of F-8s, you are out of fighters.")
V8RS992 coming soon (it's been 4 months) for may blacked out S with red interior. You have to think about it to get it (and be a Star Wars nerd like me), and it's not something that will be easily remembered. 20 years ago, I was going to order LRDV8R for my black Targa, but sadly that was taken this time around.

100 bucks extra in Minnesota.
On a regular plate, you need to pay the 100 bucks again when the plate is required to replaced in 7 years.
On a Collector plate, you never need to pay again. Not only do Minnesota Collector plates not need to be replaced every 7 years, Collector plates do not carry tabs (which on regular cars need to be be replaced every year).
