Default Porsche Keys Cheap (Ace Hardware)

I bought a used locking gas cap and it only had one key....so I went up to the local Ace hardware store.....and here is what I found.

Porsche Gas Cap Key is Ace Hardware Key : VW23

Porsche Wheel Lock Key is Ace Hardware Key : WTP1 (it is a screen door key)

Total Cost of 2 Gas and 2 Wheel lock keys......under $11.00....piece of mind of no longer only having one key of each.....priceless.

gas cap key is the same as ignition/door/hatch.

on another note, i went to a small locksmith shop and they were able to do both keys with no issues.

Doh!

I suppose it doesn't help that I don't think I've ever locked my gas cap...

I always chuckle when I see someone post a picture of their key on the internet where creeps lurk waiting to steal your identity, or in this case, copy your key from the image... just sayin'...

If you want the gas cap key to match the locks on your car, you can re-pin the lock in the cap. Do a search and you'll find the instructions - it's easy to do.
