Default gimme your digits

Hey,

I'd love to get a good list of what rim widths people are running along with corresponding offsets, diameters, early/late offset setup, car year, tire sizes etc. If you want to comment how close the tire comes to the fenders (inner or outer), is your car lowered, spring stiffness, did you roll fenders etc that would be helpful too.

I'm a bit of spreadsheet nerd and I'm trying to make sure what I'm doing for wheels and tires are going to work out. Don't have access to my car for direct measurements right now either. My idea is to get a good spread of how much width people are getting over stock and more importantly where the extra size goes (inside or outside), which is obviously an issue of offset. If I get enough data I think it should be pretty interesting, I'll post up the results. Maybe large quantities of data will help solve some of the general confusion regarding the classic "will it fit" thread.

I've already posted a topic regarding my fitment question in a thread called "my wheel plan", so I don't want to start another one of those. I'm sure everyone is tired of those questions. I've already got a few cars in the list!

Thanks in advance! Happy 4th!

'86 944. 18" anteras, just got them from a Porsche parts dealer near Atlanta that will go un-named......

The original car they came off of was an 83 or 84 with 20mm spacers on rear. Will post pic.

Looks like I will go with 1.5 wheel centric spacers on rear and 1" on the front. They are 10" wide rear and 8" wide front.

As a side note....I use the de-powered rack mod and going from a 7" front to a 8" front was a noticable difference. Before now I would not have bothered with buying a pure manual rack, now I am thinking about it. I am 6'3" and 215lbs.

Car is a daily driver, about 650 miles a week.

My car has lower Weltmeister struts up front, a weltmeister engine bay brace, and has been upgraded to turbo sways.

Will post the tire sizes if you like.

Might want to list what camber is being run with a wheel/tire combo. You can get more tire in there without rolling fenders using more negative camber.

My dd:
1986, all coilovers 250/600 stock height M030 sways
Wheels: OZ Racing Forged Fittipaldi Modula 500 7.5x17 E25 F, 10x17 E23 R
Tires: Sumitomo HTR2 235/45ZR F, 255/40ZR R
Camber: -1F, -1.25R
No rolled fenders, 1/4in gap all round from wheel to fender.

Thanks Luke I just put new suspension in (and lowered the car a little) which looks a little better now (no longer 4x4 ride hight lol)!

I've been working my way down that other thread. I have about 14 cars on the list and growing, I think it'll end up being pretty useful. I'll post it up in a day or two hopefully.
