Very impressed with DA Polisher and M105/M205
My car is likely in need of a new paint job, but I wanted to see if I could at least get a couple more years out of it. The big problem is the insane amount of swirl marks and hologramming. So I bought a detailing kit and did half my hood to see what would happen. I used the Meguiar's G110v2 Dual Action Polisher and here was my process:
1. Clay bar and quick detailer to remove surface contaminants
2. M105 Ultra Cut on setting #5 with cutting pad. Made 2 light passes and then 3 "heavy" passes
3. Wiped with microfiber
4. M205 Ultra Finishing Polish Setting #4 with finishing pad. Made 2 light passes, 2 "normal" passes
5. Wiped with microfiber
6. NXT 2.0 Setting #2 with finishing pad. Made only light passes until coated.
7. Waited till dry-ish then wiped with microfiber
There are still some scratches which the polisher couldn't remove but you only can see them in direct sunlight and this has made a HUGE difference in the depth of the paint and accuracy of the reflection. For how simple and easy this was I am very impressed and thought I would share for others thinking about this. I don't feel I need new paint now! My paint now looks better than a lot of much newer black vehicles.

Three Wheelin'
From the pics it looks like you have a lot less swirls and the reflections look a lot sharper. I have been looking at that unit for a while. I may have to invest in one. I only really need to do bonnet and roof as my car has had a respray on sides by the PO.
