I'm a dope...anyone have front wheel bearing seals in White Plains area?
It's a 1986 944 turbo.
I've had the bearings sitting on my counter for a month and now that I have a free weekend I realize I don't have the seals. I've called the dealerships in the area and some of the indie parts suppliers and no luck so far.
Does anyone in the White Plains area have a pair laying around? I'm happy to pay a reasonable markup for the convenience of not having to wait until next July 4th to do them.
They will be part number 477.405.641
Thanks fellas

You can have my used ones that are ripped to shreds I am also doing that job right now. I got mine at NAPA (SKF brand) They can get them to you the next day if they don't have in stock, provided you order before 5pm.

Absolutely. I think Beck Arnley is just the importing company, not the actual manufacturer. I saw "Beck Arnley" wheel bearings at Advance Auto and in the box were Koyo bearings from Japan which is a top-notch bearing.

Thanks for the response fellas. Heading out the door now that I'm done watching Van's video for the third time. Thanks again for those Van. So helpful.
Car is ok but new baby has taken the driver's seat. Picked up a 2003 S6 to handle all of the new gear.
Nothing has changed with the car since you saw it except I have a pile of parts that need to be installed.
(silicone hose set from Lindsey to go through and replace all of the vacuum lines, drop links for my Weltmeister bars, Schnell short shifter...and of course front wheel bearings.
I also have an oil leak which I'm afraid is the seal on the turbo.
At least if I do the bearings, I won't have worry about a wheel falling off.
off to get the seals.
