I can see it now, "It's the Porsche pre-FUBARed sales event".... DME's and IMS's are pre-designed for premature failure...

Sorry for the late reply, been putting the finishing touches on the 948 bump-stop kit. I wonder how many DMEs were trashed due to the oversight. Having a working knowledge of electrical schematics should be a prerequisite to owning a 944.....

yea understand completely, hey if i make to 18 without dying or blowing another timing belt i can be a PCA member haha but seriously i will check that out i would hate to total my $4400($1600 for the car, the rest in parts and labor on the timiing belt job most of witch i did myself besides the waterpump, tension, and front engine seals) because of a crappy spindle
