With all the things you can do to a car to improve all-out performance, aluminum lug nuts are so far down the list I would consider it purely in the realm of the hypothetical.

if the Sledgehammer can slam the corners out in the Utah desert at 120mph just for fun with these plastic-feely/aluminum lugnuts and humongous tires, maybe there's not so much to worry over in these buzz saw 4 bangers. Then again, some guy named Doug Bray was kind enough to put brand new ones on for me - since he had a couple extra sets and the old ones were showing their age.

btw, have we had a good oilwar/s thread bumped recently?

w/ winter on the way it's never too early to stock up on M1 0w50, 5w50 and 0w40.

Walmart has the 0w40 on sale for $22.50 in the 5 quart jugs.
