Oh Cool. A pic of a Porsche ON the track. I was beginning to think this was some kind of grassroots mud bogging event to make all the jeep guys jealous.
Ha! I was too busy learning the track to take any photos. By the way: Skip's 944Fest DE is the bargain of the century for track time. We ran five thirty minute sessions on Friday, and there was barely any traffic.
Beyond the grass Limo AutoX and the controlled insobriety. Did you actually get some track time ?
We were having such fun with the mud and kegs in the infield that many of us nearly ignored the squeeling tires and roaring engines all around us, literally. Pics of some beasts- (If you have not seen "Love the Beast"-do it. It's worth it)
I had a blast. First time on the track and got to tinker on some 944s. Posting a picture of my car being rented for the rallycross is not gonna help sell it. I just pulled in to the driveway from the fest about 30 min. ago. It was fun but is great to be back home. 108 today with the heat index
^ this guy is awesome. Thanks again for all of your help!
This year made me remember why I stopped bringing my 951 to 944Fest...they break. But Brian and Andy (and Ed Baus) saved the weekend and it came home in better shape than it left. Till next year-
