- Pull out the 4 ***** for the climate control (just pull)
- If the climate control face comes out, take it out and pull out the bulb socket stuck in it.
- If the climate control face DOESN'T come out, there are 2 screws holding it from the bottom - take out the radio to access them.
- take out the 2 screws on the top corners of the face of the gauge panel.
- take out the 2 screws on the bottom of this panel, which were hidden under the climate control face.
- take out the 2 screws on the side of the panel, in the carpeted area (the topmost screws... leave the other screws in the carpet area alone).
- now the trick - with your right thumb, hold down on the plastic beam that the 2 bottom screws went through (this plastic is part of the upper console / gauge panel). With your right index + middle finger, press up on the plastic of the lower console, to unhook it. You will have to do this from left to right, or right to left, w/e.
- pull out the gauge panel gently, and you can access the bulbs without unplugging anything.

Well put! I think when I did the job myself a while back there was quite a bit of plastic breakage, LOL. Be careful...
