Default 1983 Porsche 944 help

Ok so I need a little help from some people with a early 944!
I have a 1983 and I need to know the distance from the inner fender well to the outer lip of the fend on the front of these cars??
Right infront of the shock and spring and right behind would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Are you trying to fit a certain kind of wheel? Just tell us the width and offset and we'll tell you if it works.

Well here is my problem, I have a wide body kit and already sold both front fenders and I lost the sheet were I wrote the number down. I need to know the factory distance so I can figure out the difference in width so I know what back spacing to get so the tire stick out to the edge of the fenders.

So basically you need the total width of the wheel well? I'll go outside and measure it for you.

OK, from the wheel well inside wall to the fender lip inside edge (measured at the top, behind the spring) is 17 1/8".

From the spring to the fender lip is 11 1/8". Give or take 1/16" on my measurements.

But you should be able to figure out what widths and offsets you can use based on factory values, and the added width of your fenders. Do you know how much wider your new fenders are?
