OK - I've done some searching on the forums but no REAL answers, so here goes - I'f I've missed something flame away.....
I'm upgrading my 86 NA with a Spec 944 Stage 2 kit from Paragon. Backdated to steel control arms with composite bushings front and rear (of the control arms). Once installed, the front solid bushings don't "give" to allow caster adjust ment from the rear caster block.
QUESTION - Is is acceptable to "oval" out the rearmost crossmember thru hole to allow the front control arm pickup point bolt to rotate (in plan view) such that the rear pickup can be used to adjust caster? Can't see why not, but I'm looking to see what others have done when installed solid bushings.
Thanks all!
Ron
