Still waiting on information from producer. Once I have that, I will post back with a price. Unless I hear back today, I may not update the post until after this coming weekend - my son's h.s. graduation is coming up, and have to get the party put together and host! (Also have to find time to fix front swaybar mount/bushing on 944 and install lower control arms and tie rods on 328is.

Just heard back from sticker company today. This appears to be a go. Here are details: stickers are 1.5 x 2, as close to original as we can get. They are printed on vinyl, non-laminated. The company's advice was to take the printed stickers and add a clear laminate sticker over the top to provide additional protection against washing, solvents, etc. Stickers themselves are waterproof, but ink will degrade when exposed to washing, etc. I haven't settled on a final price, let me know what you believe is reasonable - I was thinking about $5/ea.

Thanks,
Jeff

Why cant they add laminate over? $5 include shipping? Are you selling these to make money, or help us out?

Not sure about why they can't add the laminate over. I don't have a firm price, if you have a suggestion, let me know. No, the idea is not to make money, although I would need to recover cost of printing/shipping/artwork. Any final price would be total inclusive of everything.

If I didn't want to help the community out, I wouldn't even bother to have posted. There is some time and effort involved on my side to get artwork created, find a print source, etc. Like I said, if that proposal doesn't seem reasonable, let me know what you are willing to pay.

I agree, your time is worth something. Did you say how soon they can make them? Any pics? Five bucks wouldnt be bad for a rare sticker, providing it sticks and lasts.

I am placing the order either today or early next week. I'm still having the rounded corners fine-tuned. I will post back as soon as I receive the stickers along with a picture of finished product.

Thanks for your help on this but I think 1.5" x 2" is to big and will not fit the space. Did you measure an original sticker?

This is a pic of my homemade sticker that is 3/4" x 1" in the correct location.

^ Hey Rich, what's that red thing on your water hose? Is that some kind of bleeder valve?

Bleeder cap (early car) best idea Porsche ever came with for bleeding the system ,wish they had kept it on late model.
