Default Vacuum line that goes into the firewall....

I replaced all of them except for that one. Its just behind the reference sensors and a little to the right. It's a regular size vacuum line but the rubber fitting on the end of it is pretty big. I guess it's for the hvac. It splits into a "T" and one end goes to the brake booster and the other goes to the vacuum box or whatever it is on the right side of the engine bay. Its an '83.

I couldn't pull the fitting off by hand, I'll just cut it off with a razor blade. Does anyone know if the lindsey racing kit will fit over that fitting? It looks like its pretty fat.

No but it should be between #13 and #7. I'll check the PET again tonight and see if I can find it. I looked forever over the weekend and couldn't locate it.

Close, I took some pics of mine just now. The red arrows are pointing to it. Sorry the arrows are not very big.

It goes to the AC system. I would replace the line in the cab with the new lindsey suff. The kit comes wih a t fitting you can use here.

If you need another or don't have a t fitting let me know. I removed all of this with my AC delete and have no use for the t fitting I got with my kit. The question is can I find it...

Ok. So there should be a nipple, or male end, whatever you want to call it, sticking out of the firewall? It's hard to see back there. I looked with an inspection mirror and it looks like the rubber boot of the vacuum line connects to something there and doesn't just go straight through the firewall. Just want to make sure before I cut into it.

If I recall you will be able to pull that line out and run a new lindsey line into the cab to hook up to your AC system I would stick your head under the dash and see I you find it.

My ac system is sitting on a shelf in my garage bu I won't be home till Saturday.
