Default Issue with Ball Joint Replacement

I'm replacing the ball joints on a 86 951. I'm installing the Rennbay 19 mm GCK. I have everything in however I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the spiral retaining ring into the control arm. How does one compress this thing to get it to seat in the groove in the control arm?

TIA

Michael

Thx John. I had viewed your post previously but it also is void of an explaination of how (specifically) to get the retaining ring to seat. I spoke with Travis (Rennbay) and he detailed it out for me. Specifically how to take a screwdriver and separate the bottom of the retaining ring getting it to seat and then with a second small screwdriver, working your way around until the entire ring has seated. I think I have it now. Hopefully all will go well.....

Thx for the effort.....
