Im looking to flatbed my poor 944 to the shop, but I have a seized brake. Where on the rear of the car will it be safe to attach the tow hook so I can pull it onto the truck without damaging the car.
Thanks

Hello, I read somewhere that putting a tow strap over the front of the transmisson and back will not damage the car. I have never had to do this, but it makes sense to me as the strap would go under the spare tire well.

how many brakes are stuck? If it is the rear ones perhaps a standard tow can lift the rear and tow it that way? (depending on ground clearance) or if it is the front lift tow by the front (presuming the transmission is in nutral) Another option would be to remove the brake caliper on the stuck wheel to allow you to roll the car.

I had a tow strap and hook both ends in to the center jack point on either side and hooked the winch to the middle of it. I didn't have a brake that's locked up but it worked well to pull it on the trailer.
