A/C Cool but not cold. What to do?

I don't have R12 gauges so I can't look at pressures. Its impossible to find a shop that does R12 work anymore. I just want to know if I should try and have this recharged with R12 and add to it or have it converted. The compressor is definitely engaging.
The recirc button is working as well. Outside temps are in the high 80's.
