DME Temp Sensor
The PO spliced in a fuel injection connector with different color wires and at the same time added an in line resistor (not sure why). I replaced the DME temperature sensor and removed the resistor and the car runs fine except the cold idle is ~750 rpm and the warm idle is ~1,000 rpm.
Since the connector is keyed I would like to confirm that the wires are connected to the correct terminals on the temp sensor.
The yellow wire from the car harness is connected to the right side of the connector as viewed in the pix (outer housing key on top and inner connector key on bottom). Can someone please look at an original harness and confirm if this is correct?

I can look at mine for you tomorrow.
I don't know about late 944s but early ones have an idle adjustment screw on the throttle body so you can tweak your idle.
I've heard of putting a resistor inline with the computer temp sensor to fool the computer into thinking it's colder than it really is, so it sends more fuel (for more power). Is that resistor green blue orange? 4600 ohms?
