Tass 928

Hi folks, I'm jumping over from the 928 board to ask a favor. About once a year I have a 928 tech session at my house and on April 17th we will be hosting event number six. The editor from Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car will be there to attend the event, take some pictures and probably create an article for the magazine. The original reason he contacted me was to see if I could corral some nice examples of a 924, 944 and of course a 928.

The event is in Wilbraham Ma. and starts at about 9am. Are there any R-listers in the New England area who would like to be part of this opportunity? Their one request was that the cars be relatively stock appearing.

I have a freshly repainted 85 N/A with also freshly refinished phone dials. The interior is not the best though. I have one crack in the drivers seat cushion and the usual dozen in the dash. Other than that it's a nice looking stocker. I may be able to make it if you think if you think it would be a good idea. I need to line up a sitter for my kids that day.

Now this Sat (4/9) I am meeting up with roughly 10 or more 944 guys in Belchertown for a cruise around the Quabbin, we'd love some more P cars to come out. We are meeting at the QR Visitors center at 10 am. Let me know if you would like to go, I can give you more detail.

Thanks for the offer...I would normaly jump on that but I'm really tied up getting the place ready for this car gig. Do you do these drives often?

I'm going to forward your picture to the Hemmings guy. Still looking for a 924...any locals?

This is our 1st ride, it originated on 944online. We hope to do it every year. If kids can come that def increases my chances, it's a long ride for me, but if my favorite magazine is going to be there then well, I just might have to suck it up and make the drive. Let me see if I can dig up a 924 contact.

We have 5 or 6 cars coming in from Boston....let me know if you want to meet up with them for the ride out. I'll set it up.

I really wish I was there right now!!!! My wife got called in to work and I have my 3 kids all under the age of 4 and I can't fit them all in the car LOL. I hope to see some pics though!
