F/S 1989 944 in Colorado
A very nice example of an iconic European sports coupe. This 944 will not win a concourse trophy, but needs nothing and is a wonderful daily driver. A 5-speed manual transmission, 2.7L car that runs and drives exceptionally well. Renowned for its epic balance and handling, this 944 is true to its lineage. Very tight and responsive handling, smooth power roll-on, and solid braking make this car a true joy to drive. Oil pressure, temp and idle perpetually and solidly in the right spots.
I’ve pampered this car since I’ve owned it. Oil changed every 3,000 miles, religiously. Engine is never taken above 3K rpm until up to normal operating temperature.
Recent maintenance includes:
Rebuilt AFM
Original vacuum lines replaced with silicone lines
Timing belt
Balance belt
Belt rollers
Water pump
New catalytic converter
More…
Car has 156,xxx miles which is about average or a little low for a 944 of this year.
The good.
It’s a Porsche 944; handling, driving, stopping and sounding exactly like it should with no leaks…not a drop.
The bad.
Crack at top center of the windshield
Vinyl dash cracked on upper surface (who would've thought?)
Cruise control module removed by previous owner. Never got around to replacing it, as I truly don't have a use for cruise control on the car.
Photos show the center console cover missing. Has since been replaced with a perfect cover with the original hinge.
I absolutely love this car and it will be sorely missed, but I’ve made the decision to upgrade to a 951 and I just don’t have the room to keep both. She absolutely must go to a good home. Will come with an extra set of phone dials.
Silver exterior/ black over linen interior. Additional photos available upon request.
$5000 OBO

Thank you. I truly do love the car, but was presented one of "those" deals on a 951 that I just can't pass up. Regardless, I'm sure I'll miss this one when it's gone...
