Default Timing belt failure data?

I know there are many factors and variables for timing belt failure. Has anyone ever compiled data as to how many miles were on a belt when it failed, on average? I'm referring to 944 cars

Miles mean nothing.

If you followed Clarks, you would find the number is 45,000 to change.

BUT the important number is 2000/15000/30000 to inspect, meaning any number is valid.

The 944s have FOES front of engine seal issues. If the oil gets on the belt, it is damaged.

New owners that buy a car that has been sitting for years have to change the belt. Again miles mean nothing.

I change the belt every 2 to 3 years. Cheap insurance at $12.50 (Pelican)

I have not seen any data on miles and belt failure. I read many posts on valve damage. Maybe that is a better source of belt data??

Real 944 believers go coverless so they can inspect even the front seals for leaks. True 944 believers also know that through faith and practice, no foreign object shall invade the holy ground of the timing belt area. I just made it a religion.
