Talking What Size Tires?!

Hey guys I have a new set of rims (new to me any way) and I'm just trying to figure out what tires sizes I should get. I'm looking to keep the speedo where it's at. The car is daily driven so I don't need fat suckers lol.

Thanks for the help!

Fronts: 8x17
Rears: 9x17

I'd put 245/40/17 all around.

The recommended tires for the Porsche OEM 7.5" front and 9" rear wheels for the 968 are:

Front: 225/45-17
Rear: 255/40-17

The 225s for your 8" front wheels will be fine.

+1 best combo for those wheels size.May I suggest you take a look at this tire one of the best for all around driving (Falken 452) not cheap but not out of reach neither, let's call it (middle price) those are what my 968 has for road contact , also had them in 16" application on my ex 944.Was & is very satisfy with them.

That's the sizes I run.

I run Falken Azenis RT-615 year-round here in Virginia Beach and drive the car regularly in the rain. I have driven it in the snow a little too, but not much. Let me know if you want to check them out. I will probably be up at Jenro's on Saturday.
