The turbo emblem on the rear of the 944 appears in different positions. Most recently in this ad:

I've seen others, too. What's up with this? Why do varying turbo emblem positions seem so common? I think I know which one is right by looking at some official Porsche photos, but I'm not 100% sure which position is correct. If there's more than one correct position, that's strange.

from my understanding, dark cars have silver badges, and light cars have Dark badges, so most of the pics look like they are a modified version. I'm sure someone will correct me if that is not the case. The badges are stuck on with an adhesive backing, unlike the hood emblem that has holes through bonnet and is secured from behind, so it's easy to understand why, any that have been replaced, may not be in factory location or be correct colour for paint type. My car is guards red and has a black badge on RHS. The T in turbo lines up with the edge of lighting cluster. I was under impression my car has original badge so is in correct location.
