this is not an uncommon issue with cast aluminum alloy rims. The tire needs to be removed . Usually they run the wheel around with a wire wheel on the inside where the bead sits to remove and corrosion and impurities.. Put some goop around to seal and throw the tire back on.

iceman, thats the plan if i continue to have trouble... in fact these wheels need a paint job pretty bad so i might have them painted and clean the insides up really well anyways...
