Default brake system flushing...how much fluid to buy

I'm changing the brake system totally and want to flusht the system with the "blue stuff". I have purchased a litre bottle and want to verify if that's enough for the job. Anyone got an answer?

I typically use under 1L with my Motive power bleeder for the whole system, you might need a second Liter to ensure you get 100% of the air out...

If bleeding using another method, you are almost guaranteed to need a second Liter!

I flushed my system prior to a track day. I then decided to get the Super Blue ATE fluid for my next swap. I used 2 1/2 guarts on the first flush. With the Super Blue, and nice blue color, I only needed 2/3 of a liter including bleeding the clutch, the color difference makes it so easy to see when your have flushed the system.

For just this reason they make it available in gold... I alternate between blue and gold on an annual basis!
