Default gts headlight kits

Hi guys,

I'm getting obsessive about weight reduction and now i want gts headlights.
I know there are many kits on the market but most have fitment issues. The problem is i don't have time to deal with those issues so i'm trying to find a bolt on perfect fit kit if anyone even makes one.
I know that the D9 kit is supposed to be the best out there but not everyone is happy with their kit and now i have doubts.Price is not really an issue ,to some degree of course.
Does anyone here have first hand experience with the D9 kits or any other kit and would like to share ? All opinions and ideas are welcome !

The D9 GTS light kit is of good quality but it's not what I would call "easy" to install. There is a fair bit of DIY epoxy work to do before they are solidly in place. The light output is also very compromised but with the Euro driving lights on all the time it is improved to the point of being acceptable. I also believe the D9 lights are set to far towards center to look OEM correct, though and I plan to rectify this in the near future with some creative cutting and re-fiberglassing.

They do however look good, save a good amount of weight and clear up so space under the hood.

As the op said, I don't think there's any easy / plug'n play solutions. Also using D9.

Buy the D9 kit.
Take kit and car to a decent body shop.
Return in a few days.
Pay Lazyman Tax to the shop.

Resume driving.

I have had D9 kit, but sold it when i moved into one piece bucket/nosepanel kit.

Same panel installed on various 944's

Made some molds for buckets, complete mold for one piece bucket/nose panel is a goal

A friend of mine have this kit. Carbon buckets and the best attacment parts i have seen.

Looks cool. How much weight does this save, anyway?

If i had the time i wouldn't mind doing some DIY work but i dont and i have alot more things to do on the car ,it's in a million pieces right now so i'm trying to minimize the time needed to take care of each part before i put them back on the car.

Olli, i was hoping you would answer ,i knew about those kits and i really like the one in the last picture that your friend has.If i'm not mistaken it's made in germany ,i stumbled on the manufacturer's site a few years ago but i lost the link. If you know the site or the company name or anything please let me know,i would very much appreciate it .

The amount of weight you'll save is not enough to justify the cost and PITA factor. Eat one less cheeseburger, unless this is your competition car, I just don't see the point. Keep it nice and streetable, or strip the entire car and put in a rollcage.

The car is a club sport interpretation ,it's fully stripped except carpet without foam backing ,manual everything, oem matter roll bar ,sport suspension ,forged 3 piece wheels and more.It will be a street/track car. I'm also on a diet ,i need to lose 30 kg

I have been searching all over the internet for this kit in the past two days and i found it. It's made by a german company and i have contacted them for more information. They're website is not of any help, not really a website so you just have to contact them by email or phone. The person i spoke to is Martin ,he was very helpful and fast ,he sent me a pdf file with their product.
One thing that is not mentioned in the pdf is the base price which is 600 euro and then you have to add the optionals. This is going to put a big dent in my budget
I know you guys want to see it too so here it is + some picures.
