When I picked up my 2003 Yukon XL it quickly developed a water pump leak (that's why it was at the auction....) Upon removing the pump i saw traces of pink / green coolant. Suspecting the previous owner was topping it off I knew a flush was in order.

I must have put through 15+ gallons of distilled water through the block, radiator and heater core. 30K miles later, all has been good and I refilled with G05.
