seat cover install

It's for sure do able by yourself. I did it for the top back of my sport seats and it wasn't too difficult, just time consuming. Just make sure you have hog ring (or whatever their called) pliers and take your time. Lot's of stretching and perfection to get the professional look. I believe someone has a DIY on Rennlist of it here somewhere...

I did mine about a month ago. Super easy to do. Once you pull apart the first seat and see how it all goes together, its easy to install the new cover. I spent about 10 hours doing both seats. Just need to take your time and do it right.

I would like to offer a few hints. Please find yourself a few pieces of cardboard and use this between the new covers and old foam, The covers will slide over the cardboard and allow you to pull and stretch the covers. You can turn the covers inside out and just roll them on the foam and then pull the cardboard out
The new covers must be hot or at least warn when put on even if you must use a light to heat them up. When you get the covers in place use the hog rings to secure. I have used wire ties with great success in the past to retail the inserts to the wires in the bottom and pull them tighter as I go. This all will sound strange but as you get started you will see it will all work .
