[QUOTE=ideola;8361952]The so-called Gullydeckel (German for "manhole cover") wheels were forged alloy wheels made by Fuchs.
the statement "it was mostly a 928 wheel" a bit of a misnomer :
Lol I'm usualy one that keep quite & don't like to start arguement, but if you do a little research you'll find out that the(so-called Gullydeckel) were fit to 928 quiete early in it's life,in fact 1978 when the first Euro 928S came out & beside a (discreet front-rear spoiler & rubbing strakes down the side they were fit with flat faces wheel instead of the phone dials one). And up to 1988 you could find 968 S4 with flats faces OE,this is were it get very confusing (but the 928 being a Porsche nothing surprise me) I thougth that all S4 came with the C Sport wheel OE but apparently not so.Hence my statement (it mostly a 928 wheel) since you don't see many 924/931/944/951 with flat faces except on the 931S package, like the one__ pettybird__has.

Yeah, you're prob'ly right...my Euro 928 had Design90's, but I have no idea if they were original. Just trying to give a little love to the '24 / '31 ... and found it interesting that they had their own part number for the Gullydeckel.
