Yes! Just put them up on craigslist for $300.

I also have a set of early stock seats for sale now.

well, although our cars have more headroom than the Caymans and 911s, some of the points made over there never seem to come up in our discussions here when we talk about seats. if nothing more, the thread further pursuaded me that there's no way i'd buy fixed back seats for any car i'd be driving on the street, unless it was just going to and from the track. i'd get the deepest adjustable seat out there, and if an ultra-deep fixed back seat was required, i'd have it for swapping in the evening before track day. if only...

If you are going to use a Harness use the sub belt. There are only a few harness design to be used as 4pt only. Schroth is only one that makes them as I understand it. Remember that wall you hit won't care if you were racing or just doing track day for fun.

As for what seats. I have a Sparco pro2000 racing seat in my 944 spec. Very comfortable on the track in all conditions. I cannot say how it on street since I don't drive my race car on the street. I would have not issues about use it like that, but my car in general is a good street car any more.

Procar Sportsman Pro Seats. They are $189 each in Jegs and are reclineable. You can get them to fit on a Corbeau seat bracket if you remove their sliders. You can also fab up an adapter plate with 12 gauge steel to adapt to the stock Corbeau brackets and bolt up to the seat. I am getting these for my 928 when I get my Fed Refund.

Here is a PDF of the seat and measurements directly from the Procar catalog. They have a steel frame which makes them safer than other cheap aftermarket seats out there.
