Default 16" fuchs and 304mm rotors

Has anyone used the original M030 (304 x 32mm rotors) and fit them under the
16" Fuchs on an Early car?

I have 16" 911 Fuchs, which have less room for the calipers than the 951's, and I am running 930 rotors with 993 Calipers on my 914/6. So to answer your question. Yes they will fit.

Awesome. I am wondering if the 309mm rotors would fit with 944 Fuchs (the caliper Radii would only need 2.5mm more clearance). I'm also working on adapters to put the Wilwood and Coleman rotors on the Early hubs.....
The 86T rotor is only 298 x 28 and weighs 15.4 lbs
The Wilwood is bigger 304 x 32 and only 8.8 lbs

Sorry to sidetrack the thread but what size are the 951 caliper pistons ?

That would be awesome ,there's a significant weight difference. What caliper are you going to use ,does the stock 951 caliper take 32mm discs?

You really have been looking into this conversion. Here is a web sight that really helped me when I modified my 914/6's brakes.

Never seen that. I am really doing these two different versions because nothing is out there with a 32mm thick rotor for the NA's and the Lexus Caliper/BoxsterS
318 x 28 rotor requires machining the Early hub to fit the rotor over it. With these adapters it all bolts right up, gets a better track rotor (32mm better heat sink) and will weigh less than 10lbs with the hat all bolted up.....And they'll fit under 16's....win win

It sounds like a great combination to me. How much is all of this going to cost you?

Another thing I would research are the modifications allowed in the race series you are going to be running in.

Sent you a message. Still trying to find the brake line thread size info so I can make SS lines....

I have SS lines on my Lexus/Boxster Brakes and thought the line was M10x1.0 Bubble flare but not 100% sure. The Wilwoods are 1/8-27 NPT to -3AN male so the line would need to be -3AN female to the female P-car threading/seat.

I machined the adapter for these rotors.... I wanted to make sure the 12.19 rotors (309mm) would fit under the 16" Fuchs and looks like they do

I never did measure the brake lines hoses. I just bought braded lines that were a direct replacement. Your project sounds like a much better deal and the calipers are awsome. Make sure you post some pictures when you are done.

If you can confirm that line, please post it. May be a week or two before I can get back out to the Pcar graveyard....

As far as the adapter bracket, it's a no brainer for me. I cheated and made the NA hub adapter set the 304 x 32 Willwood rotor the exact offset as the Porsche Cayenne 330mm x 32 rotor (requires 17's). All I have to do is set the Wilwood Caliper mounts bolt holes to
-13mm and call it a day....
