i was wondering how common linen sports seats are?



i am getting the entire matching interior as well and was just wondering how comon they are?

I've definitely seen sets with the linen script/vinyl outers, they pop around everywhere. But full script and with script on the door panels, etc. I believe it is pretty rare.

My first 944 had one in it.... however it was a passenger side only

If I had both sides I probably would have kept them.

I have friend who has some in his 87 951. Graphite Exterior and linen sport seats. Nice, but also hard to keep clean.

I have sport seats in tan leather in my 88 951S.

NOW script fabric is rare, and difficult to find replacement material for...

Well they aren't in my car, I am buying them from a friend who had bought them from the dealer awhile back. I'm not sure what color they actually are but he said they were black.... I will take better pics when I pick them up...

Yeah, but is black or tan? linen is most specificly tan cloth, but even then linen was nearly white and only came in 89 and later I believe. My color is cashmere I believe. Your could be black from the photo or just dirty. Like I said they are hard to keep clean. The partial leather like mine is actually is alot easier. My seat backs are vinyl and so are my rear seats.

I'd love to find a set of light gray cloth sports seats or even non-sport seats so I could convert them to match my 968's interior. Very very hard to find.

There was a linen or grey non-sport leather set at Hershey last year. They were in great shape no tears or wear spots and they sold for $200 for the set. It was a steal for the person who got them.

Linen doesn't describe the material, it describes the color.
