I have tried searching, but can't seem to find any information regarding the location of the amplifier for the 10 speaker system. My car is an 89 S2 with the 10 speaker system installed (however it seems to be pretty badly hacked up...). I am attempting to install a new head unit (previous was a poorly installed Clarion unit) and I am trying to decipher the wiring, unfortunately the stock harness is long gone.
I have also searched and only got a general idea of what's going on back there, can anyone tell me what wires are for what from the stock radio wiring for a 10 speaker system? I have figured out the speaker wires, so I am fine with those, it's the rest of the wires that I am having a problem figuring out what each one is.
Also did every 10 speaker system have the EQ? I am pretty sure there was no fade switch, as the blank looks like it's original.
Any info would help.

the amp WAS the EQ, and it sat below the radio in the dash. BEA-80 on your car.
