Default Timing belt

Did anyone have any problems with the timing belt suplied by All Zim in the timing kit ? I got a no name belt in a bag ,It just says made in usa on the belt and folowed by the code 09110 530282437 .
Just checking before i install it ,i don't want any nasty surprises.

Do you mean Zims Autotechnik? I've bought several timing belts from them and I've never had a problem. I just put one on last month and I'm waiting to do the re-tension.

I remember reading it was an unbranded Goodyear part. I bought my 944S belt there 6k miles ago, so they last at least THAT long

That's great news ,thank you! It just seem'd odd that the belt is unbranded...
I'm installing it in a couple of weeks so in the mean time if anyone else would like to post their experiences with this belt i would apreciate it and i'm sure it will be useful information for all of us.

Zims may have sent you a "Flennor Cam belt"

Some say the quality is not as good as a Contitech
