Mr. Z, by NA do you mean North American or normally aspirated? The normally aspirated side markers are the same as the 951/S2. The real issue is if the Euro models are the same as US spec, which I know they aren't for many. They had a little retangular side marker located behind the front wheel arch and in front of the door.

But Olli has a US spec car so he should be able to tell us when he gets a chance.

Hi!

I've opened a PayPal account now, but I have to wait for the confirmation code on my credit card statement.

The account should be up and running some time next week and shipment of lenses can start.

Hi and hallo guys!

I have just started the procedure of the manufactuing of white replacement lenses to US spec. cars.
I think they will be able to order about a month.
At this moment we are working with the forms.
The look will be exactly like the existing lenses.

the price isn´t fixed yet, but i think the price wont be so very high. I will also offer discount in orders for more that 5sets.

I also have white turnsignals for turbo/S2.

My email is Joakim-Jansson@swipnet.se

Hey guys -
If this guy is making them, lets get a big old group buy together and see how much we can drive the price down.

Oh..

I can only offer clear front lenses to 951/S2 and US sidelenses.

Anyone who will arrange a group buy? in that case i would be able to give some discount.
Mail me on Joakim@944sverige.com

Regards
Joakim

Joakim, I already offered to do a group buy from you and just pass on actual costs to the other North American buyers.

I would like to see an example first, though.

Maybe that is what has you hung up. Money transfer is not a problem, but I would like to see an example. And we will hold you to that so don't go salting examples.

Thumbs up

okey! Of course i understand that you´d like an example of the lenses.
I´d just like to have some orders before producing. The forms is quite expenive..

I will not send anything to you before you will approve the lenses.

As soon as i have the first lens in my hand, i will post pics, and perhaps send you a test example. I´m not worrying about money transfer. I have sent clear lenses to the US before =)

(sorry for my bad english)

regards

Hi Leonel,

We will see how this works out. A couple of us were trying to track down clear examples well over a year ago and even found where the molds were. But Bosch wasn't going to do it.

The front side markers will be the tricky part as you need to make the whole assembly. If you have ever taken one out you will see what I mean. I guess you could saw off the amber lens, spray the white housing silver and then glue a clear reproduction lens on. But that is a lot of shipping all over the world and guys with cars apart.

But a 951/S2 really looks sharp with all clear lights on the nose. The NA/924 should also. I discovered this when I had my turn signal lenses off to replace bulbs. I'm not much of a fashion horse, but the change was remarkable on my black car.
