I am pondering removing my transmission to replace a syncro. Normally when you are sitting in nuetral with the engine running and you attempt to slightly put it in gear without using the clutch it can't happen. At least that's the way it was before and in all the other gears. In third I don't get a buffer and, just like reverse, the gears grind. Also, when I am driving, I have a slight grind to get it into third unless I hit it just right. Does this sound like a syncro?
