Default 9in Rim on Early 944 Turbo?

Hey guys I found a set of rims and I was wondering is it possible to still a 9" rim on the front of an early 951? I'm guessing the offset is at the minimum 50+.. Thanks for your help.

Early turbos, if you ran the 951 fuchs up front, have a 23mm offset. Late turbos have the "50+" offsets.

You *can* run late wheels on early cars, but you need spacers/adaptors to make up for the difference in offsets.

Sorry let me phrase that better the rims I'm looking at are 9in and roughly 50+ offset, and I'm wondering if that will work in the front on an early 86 951 with the 23.3mm (i understand that I'll need spacers).

yes you need spacers but even with those i'm pretty sure 9" won't fit in the front,it will hit on the inside most probably the strut first if it's standard, with coilovers it could work

what tire? doubt the rim itself is going to be the problem.
