Any one know how to get Jon Milledge?

I heard he is almost all the way out of the business, not taking anymore customers!
Which means a few hundrd dollars here and there he will not do anymore. He will only support his long time customers from 10+ years ago. And on the rare occasion that someone NEW has $20K to spend on a 944 turbo engine you could persuade him with several E-mails and deposit!
Good luck what are you looking for a Camshaft?

I'm a fan of both Milledge and 951's. Jon recently completed building my 3.1L motor and it's being installed at JWE. On the dyno, with large intercooler in a vat of warm (40-45c) the motor produces over 300hp (SAE 2 corrected) at 3,300. it passes 400 hp at 4,300 and 500hp at only 5,300, peaking at 585 hp at 6500. Boost 1.35 and torque at around 517 ft.lbs; Sunoco GTplus unleaded. Two valve, 2.7 head, 968 block; MoTeC with data logging. Jerry installed the Guard differential as the Torsen as slipping. MAHLE "box" NASCAR pistons, lots of head work, Carillo rods, Jon's Barrell valve intake, 4" SS exhaust (built at JWE). 968 6 spd., Really interesting is the Garret GT3788R, wet, 35 comp hsg; tial SS (SS hot hsg). First pull on the dyno and, on boost, at relatively low RPM (around 3,000) the dyno didn't hold. Jerry told Jon: "He's gonna need bigger tires." True story

That is a heck of a build.
I know they build great motors but I hope that holds up. For a long time.
Oh well, if it doesnt, at least it will be MAXIMUM FUN while it lasts.

Thank you. The reason for the rebuild, was due to (after 30,000+ miles), it then sat for 5 years. During the teardown Jon found minor wear on the cam and one lifter. The main quest has always been for longevity and repeatable performance. The (puck) clutch is a bear, pressure plate way stiff, but once it's rolling and on boost the previous motor pulled (520 hp) more linear than my commute Camry right to redline. I pre-lube the motor with an Accusump and have a huge (Ron Davis) radiator, along with a spray bar for the intercooler. But with new technology in turbos, much better studs for mains and head & with the worn out Torsen, etc., it was completely re-built, with new parts, but very similar/same, as before. With the same displacement of 3.1L and a new exhaust manifold (Jason Lee, 321 SS), larger exhaust system, the only major difference was the turbo. not running anymore boost it gained 65hp. Kinda remarkable given how old the rest of the technology is.

Sorry for the late reply.
To answer your questions, yes Jon still building engines. About 2-3 a year.
It takes him 3-4 months do build a motor.
Jon also just finished the build of my motor. He is doing some final prep work on the motor including mapping on the MoTec. He found out the fuel tank was leaking and is replacing that. We will have the car back next week.
(side note)- Doing some early mapping for the MeTec he was driving this car and found out that on 3rd gear traction was lost around 3,000rpm and by 5,000rpm’s the tires are vaporizing.
