They were done by Ken here in Jackson, MS. Can PM his number to anyone who wants it. To be honest after I had turned them over to him I heard a negative story about his work from another Porsche guy; a wheel he had redone failed to balance out. But I am very happy with the results, pictures can't do them justice.

One wheel had a bite taken out of the edge, for the life of me I can't find it now post his repair job. He stripped them down, removed center caps, polished the lips and painted. He even was nice enough to paint the alumin legs of the carbon fiber wing I will use the same color. Custom mix paint cost me about $53. And still have some left for touch ups down the raod.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

They look good. Can't argue with the price. I paid Weidman's something like 4x that for mine.

michael,

PM me this guy's name when you get a chance. At some point in the future I need to get a set refinished.

I have registered for a driver's education event through the AL PCA club for March 4th and 5th at Barber Motor Sports. My goal is to have the car 'finished' and painted for this event. So maybe post pics here at the end of Feb.

At least then he wouldn't have to repaint his car to match his wheels.

But in all honesty the wheels look sharp, cant complain for $400.

"have to repaint his car to match his wheels."?????????

I always planned to build a white 944 with red accents. Its the way I 'designed' the car in my head while I was in Iraq last year. I also know I was going to be swapping/adding so many body panels (i.e add box rockers, 924 turbo nose, a turbo valance, etc) I would have to paint the entire car anyway. So if I started this process with a non-white 944 it wouldn't mattered that much. Now of course, if I could have found a white car to begin this process with that would have been great as well, but I found this gold one in my price range. It's all good. In this great country everyone has an opinion, and I appreciate the compliment on my wheels.

Well done. The wheels look great. I need to do the same to mine. First I have to sort out the mechanics.
